South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky always provides transportation to the students from the airport to the university.
Each student should inform us about his/her flight details by email or WhatsApp, so that our representative person would be able to arrive on time to pick the student up at the airport. In case if our representative person is not informed about the arrival time and couldn’t meet the student to prove his/her identity, the student will be deported back to the homeland. So once you’ve got your flight reservation, please send us the scan copy of the ticket.
It is advisable to book flights in advance, because the beginning of the academic year is a busy time to travel to Ukraine.

Rules of behaviour abroad
Follow all the rules of behaviour established by the school and the rules of living in a family/residence/apartment. If you have any problems, please contact your supervisor or a school employee, or contact the international mobility group of the international faculty.
In case of unintentional or intentional violation of the rules of stay abroad by students, loss or theft of documents, their detention by local authorities, the student immediately informs the group of academic mobility of the international faculty.
If you lost your passport
In case of loss of a passport, you must immediately contact your diplomatic mission or consular office in the host country to obtain a certificate of entry (return).
If the overseas office is far from your location, we recommend that you first contact its employees by phone and get additional instructions regarding the required documents.
If there is a theft or an attack against you, first of all, you need to report the incident to the law enforcement agencies for the investigation and possible disclosure of the crime without delay. It is necessary to draw up a report, in the case of theft – with the list of missing items and their approximate cost. It is also recommended to report the incident to your supervisor or to an employee of the educational institution.
If you are detained or arrested, do not resist, as this may aggravate the situation and provoke law enforcement officers to use physical force or even weapons. It is not recommended to communicate with representatives of law enforcement agencies, as well as to sign any protocols and other documents in a foreign language in the absence of an interpreter or a lawyer since such statements according to the legislation of a number of countries can be used as a basis for a crime.
You have the right to require the provision of the opportunity to contact the nearest diplomatic mission or consular office or to send them a written notice of the fact of the incident.
Consular offices in Ukraine may provide the assistance in establishing contacts with relatives or friends of the detainee, monitoring compliance with legal procedures, including in terms of compliance with their local laws and international law, searching for lawyers, clarifying all the circumstances of the case.
